7 Influential Georgia Republicans Join McCain’s Campaign
Senator McCain’s official site announced on Wednesday, March 28, that seven influential Georgia Republicans were joining the campaign as advisors in the Peach State.State Senator Jeff Mullis will serve as co-chair of Legislators for McCain.
Georgia GOP Chairman and RNC Committeeman Alec Pointevint is also serving as the Southern Co-Chair for the McCain effort.
Derrick Dickey, the President and CEO of Dickey Strategic Relations, most recently served as Communication Director and Deputy Campaign Manager for the 2006 re-election of Gov. Sonny Perdue. Prior to the 2006 campaign, Dickey had been Deputy Director of Communications on Gov. Perdue’s staff.
Leigh Ann Wood Gillis has served Gov. Perdue in three different roles:
