McCain Campaign Announces That A Dazzling and Diverse Array of New York Leaders Have Endorsed the Senator

Senator McCain’s official site announced on Thursday, March 29, 2007, that a dazzling and diverse array of New York political leaders have formally endorsed his candidacy.

The official press release specifically identified no fewer than 15 prominent New Yorkers as allies of McCain’s candidacy.  These endorsements are important, because of the fact that another Republican presidential candidate is former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and any inroads McCain’s campaign can make within the GOP of Giuliani’s home state are vital.

Distinguished attorney Ed Cox was named as Chairman of the McCain campaign in the Empire State.  Colonel Dominic Morelli was named Chair of the coalition of Veterans for McCainNoeline Kuker, Kristen Kelly Fisher, and Annemarie McAvoy will all serve as Co-Chairs of the NY Women for McCain Coalition
