After 1st Qtr FEC Fundraising Announced, McCain Campaign Launches Major $$$ Offensive; A List of Fundraising Events
After the first quarter FEC reports were announced, with Senator McCain raising $12.5 million (behind former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney and former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani, for third place among Republicans), the McCain campaign announced a major fundraising offensive, in order to catch up.
Accordingly, Campaignia will increase its analysis of the finance sector of the McCain campaign. So let’s start with the fundraising circuit.
Over the next few weeks, Senator McCain will be raising money in the following cities:
4.17.2007 - Atlanta, GA
4.18.2007 - Charleston, SC
4.19.2007 - Denver, CO
4.20.2007 - Tucson, AZ
4.23.2007 - Greenwich, CT
5.21.2007 - “Doubleheader” - Tulsa, OK/Oklahoma City, OK
It would stand to reason that this is just the tip of the iceberg for the finance offensive, given the large lag time between April 23 and May 21; expect that period to be crammed with additional events.
