On June 18, the McCain campaign received a boost from The Wonkette, a/k/a Ana Marie Cox, whose irreverent DC-based new media site has proven to be extraordinarily popular through the years.
Writing for Time magazine, the Wonkette had this to say about a South Carolina poll which did not have favorable news for Senator McCain:
